Under DOLE Labor Advisory No. 06, Series of 2020, final pay is generally released within 30 days from separation, and a Certificate of Employment (COE) within three days of the employee’s request. Retirement pay follows the Retirement Pay Law (RA 7641), with tax treatment set by BIR rules.
